1 of a small team who between them fulfil both project management &project assurance roles. Working alongside other PM's to create robust project plans and to deliver their projects effectively,also managing some web content delivery projects.

You will champion the application of the best practice toolkit, deliver projects which demonstrate the benefits of following the best practice approach, and contribute to the development of the toolkit.

You will be experienced in organising both website content migration & development projects.Focus on delivering �front end� content, not �back end� infrastructure..Work closely with content owners, senior managers, other project managers, web editors, user experience designers, developers, testers and communications staff. Many have no background knowledge of the web, project management, or applications development and testing, so you need to be adept at communicating in plain language.
Essential �working on web projects
�Delivery of a number of web migration and/or site re-launch projects
�Delivery of a number of projects involving development or redevelopment of web-based applications and/or complex rich media
�Delivery of a number of projects where stakeholders had to be �sold� the idea through persuasion rather than being told to do the project by a person in authority �working in a �project assurance� role, coaching less experienced and/or less specialised project managers, championing the use of the agreed processes and tools, �working on projects, and solid understanding of, using industry standard user-centred design techniques to improve usability and accessibility of web-based content and applications
�project management techniques and familiarity with PRINCE2 (examples of documents typically used should be brought to the job interview if possible)
