Role Objective:

To ensure the effective operation and control of the company's operational service, assets and liabilities for either Waste Water or Water Services. This
role is 24/7 or 16/7 shift based (all year round) and will focus on ensuring the effective 24/7 operation of either Water or Waste Water service. Customer
focused and driven delivering full compliance with all customer, regulatory and company standards. This role will seek to ensure that effective responses,
decisions, proactive actions and exceptional customer service are delivered through working with colleagues both within COSC but also equally field colleagues.

Key Accountabilities:

Responsibility for the overall performance of either Water and Waste Water
Services at COSC and for decisions/instructions issued in respect of asset operation and resource deployment in the respective function
Ensure effective relationships with Water and Waste Water services, COSC staff and other colleagues across functions
Accountability for actions/advice in function to the Waste/Water Services Manager
Promoting a safe and efficient working environment demonstrated by a process and focused approach to reactive events, ensuring all quality standards are
met.
Continually drive and participate in the implementation of change within the department through lean processes
Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements
Responsible for the early identification of incident or events likely to lead to escalation
Functional and regional responsibility for the effective network operation

Experience:

Experience of analysis work and prioritising incoming tasks
Experience of delivering customer service and operating asset systems i.e.;
Water Distribution, Sewerage, Sewage Treatment, Water Production
Experience of influencing others in a sensitive, successful and collaborative manner
Experience of proactively identify problems and drive/implement solutions
Experience of delivering solutions and actions through motivating and coaching colleagues
Excellent communication skills combined with experience of making a considered approach when facing pressure and experience of making key
decisions with limited information
Experience of hydraulic operation of sewerage and distribution network

Essential and/or desirable qualifications for the role

Preferably educated to A Level Standard or above
