Our client, a large rail organisation, is looking to recruit a STEW Assessment Engineer to their offices in Central London. You shall be responsible to the Bridges and Structures STEW Team leader for the accurate and timely execution of structural evaluations of Bridges and Structures assets whose stability is potentially compromised by the Track Replacement programme, as required by the Civil Delivery Unit Contract.
Accountabilities:
Delivery of accurate structural evaluations in accordance with the agreed programme.
Seek to overcome any programme problems with his work, in conjunction with his Team Leader.
Provide support and mentoring to less senior members of the STEW Team where appropriate.
Identify and suggest areas for improvement.
Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering
Experience of structural design or assessment, with an appreciation of geotechnical engineering principles, or experience of structures-related geotechnical design or assessment.
Desirable:
CEng (MICE/MIStructE)
LUL Railway engineering experience
Experience of structural inspections
