The ideal candidate will be expected to provide mechanical engineering input to studies/projects covering the entire project life cycle from field development study, through design, to operational support and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities will include: Individual calculation effort, preparation of data sheets, participation in front-end studies, mechanical engineering input to detailed design and start-up / operational support;
Organisation and management of small scale modification projects, supported by more senior personnel;
Ensure through direction and guidance of personnel that the engineering work is progressed efficiently, to maintain schedule without compromising on quality.
The role is varied, requiring flexibility, both in the type of assigned work tasks, and location, as short assignments offshore or to overseas locations are anticipated. There is potential for long term assignments to other Pöyry locations in the oil and gas, or other business areas, in the future, dependant upon candidate’s career aspirations.
