I am looking to recruit and experienced and dedicated Project Manager for a unique and interesting position based in Aberdeen.
My client is an independent technology company that is involved in the Gas to Liquid market. The Project Manager will be responsible for the performance, management, and administration of the various tasks and areas of the clients project work within established parameters for Technology, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Quality Assurance. The responsibilities will apply to all phases of the Project from design, procurement, commissioning and operations on site.

Responsibilities
Key areas of responsibility will include:
Developing the Project Plan with senior management
Managing the Project Schedule
Interface with management and vendors
Development of Project related Targets
Obtaining relevant Certification
Management of financial related Project risks
Operations & field support

Requirements
This is a highly visible position reporting directly to the CEO. Required key skills include:
Knowledge and understanding of contract management and layout
Sound chemical technical knowledge
Strong IT skills; comfortable with computer-based tools, processes and workflows
A wealth of Project Management experience.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects, schedules and budgets
Essential to hold a Chem Eng degree.
Experience in software design packages for Chemical Engineering
Knowledge in programming languages, would be advantageous
Background in process work and experience in plant would be desirable
Confident communicator as you will be required to liaise with all levels of the organization and outside parties
