Overview
Our client is a leading independent global provider of Risk Management Services that combines industry experts, risk modeling, practical engineering and technology based solutions. Through a comprehensive and integrated risk management approach. The client is committed to assist its clients in managing their operational, security, and catastrophic risks to minimize business interruption of their operations. Due to the expansion of the business and workload they are presently looking for a Project Manager to support a major defence contract in the East Midlands between office and site.

Responsibilities
To manage NPSA (excluding commodities) and Astute projects delivery to the CFBU.
Experience of managing a team of project and procurement staff. Responsibility for staff development training, financial performance, delivery performance and management of key suppliers. In this role you would be expected to demonstrate strong leadership qualities directing and organising staff and taking the lead for key internal interfaces within the organisation.

Experience
The successful applicant will be expected to have the following background and experience;

1. Degree in relevant engineering field (preferably degree qualified)

2. 8 years practical experience and this knowledge at this level in project management

3. Project experience within the nuclear and defence related sectors

4. Due to the nature of the business and projects, candidates must have SC or DV level security clearance.
