Main Responsibilities Include:

Liaise with Project Management, Design and Other Departments
Maintain lines of communication with the client
Achieve project timing and cost control objectives
Appraise and authorise purchasing
Generate enquiries/progress orders/arrange deliveries
Resourcing and allocation of project personnel
Supervise engineers ensuring optimum productivity
Negotiation and management of contracts e.g. hire equipment, access equipment, cranes, transport, site support services etc.
Health & Safety objectives
Quality Control including relevant documentation associated with Risk Assessment, Method Statements etc.

Project Responsibilities Include:

Management of activities to achieve 2008 targets:
This is to include:
Manage the timing programme and update as required.
Liaise with the client and project team as necessary.
Provide a weekly progress report to the Management.
Expedite and manage logistics associated with all items required for site installation tasks.
Log any manufacturing and assembly issues and ensure that they are addressed by the relevant personnel.
In conjunction with other project personnel ensure that suitable labour is resourced and allocated efficiently.
Keep method statements and installation sequence documents up to date.
Achieve project timing and cost control objectives.
