Our client currently has a vacancy for a Project Manager to work in their Edinburgh and East Kilbride offices, maintaining the effective and efficient operation of their objectives.

In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager to promote and instil financial and production discipline in managing our clients' commercial interest through the delivery of a project or group of projects to agreed scope, timescales and budget.

You will excel in client relationship management and solution management, delivering solutions with the right balance of performance, risk and cost under the best commercial terms.

Demonstrating a combination of flair, inter-personal skills, disciplines and the ability to face up to hard decisions you will be aware and able to undertake the expectations and accountability placed upon you, you will be able to manage a number of projects at any one time.

To be successful in this role you will provide the Senior Project Manager timely and accurate information on issues pertaining to the project delivery. You will be able to provide the client with timely, accurate and comprehensive documented progress reports, establishing and maintaining an effective trust based relationship with the client in the process. You will be able to build and continually motivate the best project team available with the right resources to the deliver the project, whilst building and maintaining a comprehensive, realistic project schedule, work plan and budget.

Being able to lead the project team to deliver project outputs through effective decision making and teamwork, you will be able to ensure risk is effectively assessed and managed (risk register) and cost is actively controlled within the approved project budget.

Experienced in good communication you will ensure that information flows effectively at all times and at all levels inside and outside of the project team, and that you have complete control over the projects under your control.
