Our client is a technology leader in the nuclear sector and they play a pivotal role in the production of nuclear fuels and are involved in development, manufacturing, supply and installation. Due to a continued growth within the nuclear market they are looking to recruit a process engineer on a permanent basis for their north west operation.

You will be a degree qualified chemical engineer and have experience in the field of process engineering design and specification. You will ideally have experience in the nuclear sector but our client is willing to look at candidates that have similar process industry experience. You will have a proven track record in specifying or designing process systems for a range of applications and have the capability to produce high quality written specifications and reports. This role does require international travel so the ability to speak German, Dutch or French would be an advantage.

You will be involved in the production of detailed technical specifications and will be expected to ensure satisfactory definition and implementation of the core plant technology systems based on the company�s design. You will work with subcontractors, check and approve detail design drawings, check suppliers test specifications and attend test at suppliers factories if required. You will also present information for design reviews and safety reviews.

Due to the nature of the business our client is operating in and under government regulations this role will only be available to British Nationals. Security Clearance will need to be obtained prior to employment.
