Process Engineer - Pharmaceuticals - South East - Permanent Staff

Our client is a pharmaceutical company with a well earned reputation for innovation, efficiency, and providing solutions and products that address unmet needs in the market. The company is currently making a significant investment in constructing brand new facilities in the North London area, and is now seeking process engineering support. Your task will be to provide project engineering support to the solid dose manufacturing facility. As part of a team reporting to the Process and Instrumentation Engineering Leader, this role has the responsibility to define the engineering tasks and activities associated with the efficient and compliant operation of pharmaceutical dry product manufacturing and packaging equipment.

The engineering group, and this role in particular, are critical to ensure the efficient operation of the equipment. It is expected that this will be achieved by designing maintenance regimes that balance the needs of production for up time and failure prevention. Risk based approaches will be required with GMP, Health and Safety in mind as critical factors that are non negotiable.

As issues arise investigations and remedial actions will need to be undertaken all in accordance with industry and site standards.

In addition to the operational aspect of the role, projects delivery will be a fundamental part of the job. This will be both in terms of project management and technical support, driving improvements in equipment performance and reacting to issues to prevent reoccurrence.

You will be a degree qualified chemical, mechanical or electrical engineer, and should have previous experience ideally within a secondary pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment. In return, a generous salary is on offer, together with healthcare and advantageous pension scheme.
