My client requires a Principal Telecommunications Enfgineers to wor in the Rail sector which is one of the largest divisions within their group and a market leader in the provision of multi-disciplinary Railway services. They provide consultancy services that cover all aspects of rail infrastructure planning, design, project management, construction supervision and rail maintenance. Telecommunications group of my client specialise in the provision of communications systems for the UK and European Rail transportation and infrastructure industry.

The Role:
You will undertake design commissions and act as a client focus for Telecoms activities. The purpose of this role is to undertake or independently check complex detailed telecommunications design work.

You:
You must have extensive proven experience in telecommunication design for the Rail and Metro environment. You must be demonstrably proficient in senior telecommunications engineering roles. It is essential that you have a thorough understanding backed by technical qualifications of telecommunications systems and networks. You must have previous experience in Railway engineering in a client focused environment. You should have thorough knowledge of Transmission, SCADA, Data networking, Railway Operational and Retail Systems along with Engineering Management experience. Ideally you will have a telecoms / Electronics Degree.
