They currently have a vacancy for a Principal Civil Engineer to work at their Edinburgh office.
In this role you will be reporting to the Project Manager producing output to meet time, budget and quality requirements, interfacing effectively with multiple disciplines at all times to contribute to an overall coherent and efficient design.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven background in water and/or wastewater design, with experience in the production of civil engineering designs and specifications for water and wastewater projects, which ideally will have included treatment plants, pumping stations and pipelines.
With knowledge of water industry best practice you should be experienced in the design of water and wastewater treatment works, hydraluic design, pipeline engineering, ground engineering, pumping station design and the design of water retaining structures.
Being able to work in a multi disciplined team you will take ownership for your individual work output and remain focused on the most important priorities, while showing an understanding of project management tools and methodologies and being capable of delivering technical work to time and cost targets under the direction of the project manager.
