Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer

Location: York

Our client based in York is looking to recruit a geotechnical engineer on permanent basis.

Candidates should be qualified to MSc or equivalent standards and must have between 2 - 5 years good post-graduate geotechnical design experience within a consultancy environment.

Candidates should have good knowledge of earthwork and cutting assessments which would include stabilisation techniques and erosion control techniques.

Candidates should have a general awareness of the geotechnical aspects of civil engineering design and construction principles and standards

You should be able to appreciate and apply the safety implications of working practices.

You should be a good team worker.

You should have experience of maintaining and developing relationships with clients (internal and external.)

Your work attitude should be based on providing solutions to issues.
