The DP business in Aberdeen primarily focus on marine engineering and detailed FMEA and FMECA analysis for Dynamic Positioning vessels, crane systems, dive systems etc.

Desired Qualifications

� Chief Engineer or a relevant qualification in marine engineering

Desired Experience

� Offshore marine experience

� DP knowledge, preferably DP2 & DP3 systems

Job Description

� DP FMEA & FMECA development

� DP FMEA & FMECA proving trials development and witness offshore

� DP assurance audits & IMCA CMID surveys

� DP incident investigations

� DP vessel suitability & upgrade surveys

� Saturation diving system design audits

� Charter suitability studies

� Risk studies including HAZID, HAZOP and FMEA

Candidate Specification

� Strong interpersonal and communication skills

� Ability to prepare written business correspondence and technical documentation that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional

� Able to demonstrate skilled knowledge in analysing technical solutions and writing detailed technical specifications

� Understands the value internal and external clients and respond to their needs as they arise

� Able to establish effective working relationships with clients and manage expectations effectively
