****************************CONTRACT CONTROL SYSTEMS DESIGNER******************************************
Our client is involved within the Marine and Defence Industries and are now looking for a controls systems designer to join their team on a contract basis
We need someone to look at the drawings to make sure they are correct, relating to control panels, electrical, control systems, = Siemens PLC. Checking other peoples designs / test specifications could come from a control systems background OR electronic background OR pharmaceutical OR possibly oil or gas. SCADA and Siemens Step 7 familiarity
Duties to include
Compiling/Auditing Items Lists
Assembly Drawings
Circuit Diagrams, New and Marking up existing
Proof reading technical documents
Generating wiring schedules PLC Configuration
Writing/Executing Test Specifications
Useful Experience:
Marine Systems / Engineering
Defence and Naval Engineering standards
Control Systems
PLCs
Profibus, Serial Interfaces
DC power supplies
Familiarity with Terminals, Fuses, Wiring, type components not complex analogue or digital electronics
Due to the sensitive nature of this position the client requires Current Valid Security Clearance
