Our client is a leading engineering specialist that design, manufacture, install and commission process packages for the Oil & Gas market sector. This includes, skid mounted, water treatment and metering systems for customer both within the UK and globally. Due to the expansion of the group and business they presently require a Control Panel Design Engineer to join their design team out of the Gloucestershire office. Will be responsible;

To produce Hardware Detail Design documentation to enable production of Control panels on time to budget and right first time to avoid rework.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:
To Design Control Panels to meet the requirements of the functional Design specification and Client specifications.
To maintain up to date knowledge on panel components and ensure panel design meets the requirements.
To produce Project Drawings and Documentation required by the company's Production and by the Client to the required standards on time and within budget.
To work to the requirements of the company's ISO 9001 quality procedures and any other company procedure in place.
To liaise with the Systems Manager or in his absence the Project Manager and Project Engineers to ensure up to date Engineering data is being used.
To liaise with the Project Manager and Project Engineers on any Engineering data missing or incorrect to enable the Design to tbe completed on time and within budget.
To maintain a Project Log of any correspondence between project Manager, Project Engineers and Design Office Staff.
To Issue Drawings and Documentation to the Project Manager and Project Engineers for Production and Client Issue.
To liaise with the Systems Manager to Design standard components for use within a Project.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
2 years experience of Control Panel Design.
HNC in Control Systems or Electronics
