Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Provide total support to the projects and process departments on all aspects of electrical and control systems.
Support the design and specify low, medium and high voltage MCC systems.
Support the design and specify relay-logic and PLC based control systems.
Liaise with the process department to prepare functional design specifications to which software will be programmed by the supplier.
Specify and select plant instrumentation to meet requirements.
Source and select suppliers of MCC, control systems and instrumentation.
Analyse supplier quotations and make informed recommendations to the project manager for purchase.
Develop a database of key supplier and product/price information.
Preparation of all electrical and control related project documentation including drawings, datasheets, QA documentation and suppliers certificates, etc to a schedule advised by the project manager and/or customer.
Support testing and commissioning on site MCC, control panels and instrumentation.
Support the sales department on sales enquiries.
Prepare documentation in line with current CE certification requirements.
Facilitate CE and ATEX certification requirements across all projects.
