Our client is a multi-service company providing studies, development, engineering and project management services for power, process and infrastructure projects. Their involvement in power is long established; services have been provided in some eighty countries, over five decades.
Their expertise covers the whole range of power sector projects including; thermal, hydro, renewable energy, and transmission and distribution systems. Their transmission and distribution expertise covers all levels of voltage to 500KV.

About the Role

The role requires heavy structural engineering associated with the Nuclear industry. The role requires detailed design of heavy steelwork 'modules' associated with major nuclear decommissioning projects.

You would form part of a 20 man project team within the 55 strong nuclear structural team based in Warrington.

The nuclear structural team is predominantly focused on major new build projects associated with the UK decommissioning programme. They are currently working from feasibility to detailed design under direct frameworks in addition to major projects supporting contractors on site.


About You

You will be a Chartered Structural Engineer with industrial steelwork design experience eg petro-chemical, nuclear, offshore. Ideally you will have some fabrication experience. You will be MICE/MIStructE and have a BSc or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
