Our client is a specialist construction company with a reputation for expertise in its field. Working Nationally from its York office our client has recently won a number of new contracts and require the services of an architectural technician to supplement the existing team.

Working alongside various departments the successful candidate will have a strong architectural background and demonstrate a flair for design along with knowledge of current regulations, standards and guidelines.

Using AUTOCAD you will be expected to use you skills and experience on a wide range of design projects,

Liaising with the Managers the focus of this role will be to assist in the tender process and help create a satisfactory solution for the potential client

The Architectural Technician will ideally have some years experience in an architectural and building design environment and will be expected to bring practical experience and design flair to the role.

The Architectural Technician will be required to make visits to clients, customers, suppliers, and other professionals involved with contracts, and will in certain cases be the only or main contact for and on.
