Senior Commercial Consultant: Leading PQS Firm: Manchester & Humberside: Salary dep on exp. c. 50,000 plus excellent package

This opportunity comes working for one of the leading project and cost consultants across the globe. They operate within 64 different countries working on the pick of the worlds most exciting projects supported by a their staff which they see as the best in the industry. This position has been made available because of extended growth within the business sector and is to play a key part in the development of this regional team.

The role itself will take responsibility for petro-chemical projects for Manchester and Humber region and will be based out of the Manchester office. Typically this will mean working on projects in excess of 50 million working with a number of high profile and blue chip clients. By the very nature of the scale of projects involved you would be expected to manage commercial activities on site for the client and to lead a team approach to project delivery.

Basic responsibilities encompass:

Leading a Commercial Team and providing a range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion.

Have the experience and knowledge in relation to sustainability issues, life cycle costing and risk & value management

Assist in the management of the team and the development of more junior members.
