Senior Mechanical Engineer Hertfordshire Permanent

Our client, a world-class manufacture based in Hertfordshire are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be expected to provide and implement maintenance excellence and an efficient facility for the inspection, maintenance and repair of the company's plant and equipment and to ensure that required levels of service and maintenance budgets are met through control of the site engineering resource. The role requires someone to establish and maintain a lean culture within the engineering maintenance department through the application of TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance).

The successful candidate will be an experienced qualified Mechanical Engineer and have a number of years of hands-on experience in managing within manufacturing unit. They will have the ability to be able to successfully manage in a proactive, not merely reactive, style.
