Maintenance Manager Hertfordshire

Our client, a world-class manufacture based in Hertfordshire are looking for a Maintenance Manager. You will need the necessary technical experience, business skills and vision to extend the company's existing knowledge base and hopefully broaden its horizons.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will be expected to provide and implement maintenance excellence and an efficient facility for the inspection, maintenance and repair of the company's plant and equipment and to ensure that required levels of service and maintenance budgets are met through control of the site engineering resource. The role requires someone to establish and maintain a lean culture within the engineering maintenance department through the application of TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance).

The successful candidate will be an experienced qualified Mechanical Engineer and have a number of years of hands-on experience in managing within manufacturing unit. They will have the ability to be able to successfully manage in a proactive, not merely reactive, style.
