Job Purpose/ Responsibilities

Provide hands-on, day-to-day management of Commercial and Administrative issues
Review Contracts to ensure compliance with requirements
Negotiate value of Contract Change Orders with Owners
Monthly financial and commercial reporting as appropriate
Commercially manage various projects
Advise and assist on the implementation of robust time, cost and management reporting systems
Training and development of commercial staff.

Essential Functions

Ensuring timely submissions of Interim Payment Applications and prompt payments to supply chains
Maintain, enforce, document and control all subcontractors and suppliers
Provide direction and support to specific commercial managers and subcontract administrators
Oversee and manage the commercial functions on Projects and Prospective businesses
Devise and implement sound commercial and financial controls on Projects

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills
Working knowledge of contract language and legal requirements of contracts
Excellent people and leadership skills

Special Conditions

Required to travel within Canada and elsewhere as directed
