Our client is a leading water engineering contractor and specialise in both water & wastewater treament related projects both throughout the UK and internationally. They are involved in engineering design, development, construction, installation, commissioning, site and project managment of all projects. They have offices and site locations strategically located throughout the UK to deal with their projects and customers. Due to the continued growth of the business they are seeking a number experienced Proposals Engineers to join their Warwickshire based office and team.
Responsibilities;
The Proposals Engineer is responsible for supporting specific proposals undertaken by the company. This role involves supporting and assisting management with any number of varied proposals which the business may be dealing with at various stages at any one point in time. The overall responsibility of the Proposals team is to provide our clients with a high quality service and product, ensuring we have the highest possibility of success with each proposal and at all times protecting the business from unacceptable risk. The role requires a high degree of technical and commercial capability.
Key Duties;
1. Responsible and accountable for specific proposals reporting to the Proposals Manager / Director
2. To effectively work as part of the Proposals team in pursuit of providing our clients with a high quality service and product
3. To ensure all proposals are driven to provide the best value solutions, delivered on time and within clients budget expectations
4. To identify the risks associated with each proposal
5. To maintain excellent working relationships both internally and externally
6. To work to continuously improve standards of performance.
