Essential to all roles is a background in Engineering and whilst experience in the oil and gas industry is not essential, it would be advantageous.

Role Title: Project Lead Engineer

Business/Location: FMC Technologies, Dunfermline

Main Accountabilities
Determine requirements at the beginning for the project to ensure early customer definition
Control the resource requirements through the project
Create Variation Orders & Engineering Change Requests as required
Schedule Management
Deliver project on time to milestones and within budgeted hours
Ensure Technical work does not impact milestone payments or delivery by managing technical change
Maintain Engineering (Concerto) plan
Deliver Equipment with Compliance to Specification
Control product design for project (incl. product design review/approval)
Raise ECRs against quoted delivery.
Review of project QNs (NB PLE is not to be tasked with QNs action) and raise NCRs as necessary
ECN approval on all Project equipment
Manage Validation and Verification of the
Technical presentation and instruction, primary technical interface
Provide input to field project risk assessments, HAZOP etc.
Final document delivery
Creation of project top level BOM and maintenance on SAP
