Production Team Leader

Our client is a major drink manufacturer with a large production facility based in Manchester. Due to key installations on site they have a key role within their organisation to recruit a Production Team Leader with an Engineering background which is a key appointment for the company who are currently building on their success with a major capital investment project.

Responsible to the Production Manager you will have a strong production based background with a experience of working within an engineering enviroment ideally as a maintenance engineer/ technician. You would be managing in a very team orientated environment with a very committed workforce. As such our client is looking for a talented motivational manager with strong people skills. It is envisaged that you will have a number of years experience managing a fast moving production department you have experience in an ideally pharmaceutical, food, beverage but this isnt essential.

The main purpose of the role is to provide the business with a well trained and disciplined team capable of manufacturing in line with agreed targets on all aspects of safety, hygiene, quality and overall efficiency. To manage and control all aspects of the manufacturing operations ensuring all areas are co-ordinated to achieve site goals and KPIs. Working on continental shift pattern the successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of 32,000 - 35,000 + Shift + Benefits.
