Our client is a global manufacturer and due to increased workload and continued growth within the company a position has opened up for a Process Engineer to be based on a permanent basis at their South Wales plant.

You will be a degree-qualified chemical engineer with previous experience in a process safety environment. You will be required to show an expertise/experience in materials handling, combustion processes, refractory and heat transfers, process control and also mechanical and chemical plant design.

Your main duties will be to identify and drive continuous improvements in manufacturing process capability, capacity, safety and quality. This will include identifying and implementing improvements to plant, providing technical advice, offering support and implementing process trials, participating in HAZOP studies, assisting in the design and installation of new equipment to support improvements and to own and manage the installation of P&IDs.
