Our Client is an established international process contractor providing engineering, procurement, and commissioning and construction skills on a global basis. We have a worldwide reputation for excellence in the execution and delivery of fully integrated projects covering a wide range of petrochemical and chemical technologies.
Are now looking to recruit a Principal Electrical Engineer

As an integral member of project-based teams, the incumbents key responsibilities are as follows:

Supervision of a team of electrical engineers and designers on complex multi-disciplined petrochemical projects
Reporting to a project/engineering manager, deliver the electrical scope within time and budget constraints
Design liaison with vendors, subcontractors and clients to ensure all details are integrated into the electrical design

Experience required
Familiarisation with national and international design codes
Design and selection of large motors together with a thorough working knowledge of equipment installed in Hazardous Areas
Electrical engineering with a detailed knowledge of Electrical System design including equipment selection LV distribution, MV switchgear, MCCs and Building services, Protection Systems, earthing and transformers
Full appreciation of planning, estimating, cost control, QA, certification & validation processes
