Urgently looking for P Way Engineer for a long term contract based in Birmingham.

Design of permanent way alignments and task management of work undertaken. Drawing and report production for feasibility and detailed design schemes

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Permanent Way Design Engineer with the following attributes:
Experience in all aspects of Permanent Way design, from feasibility to detail design levels
Good design experience in plain line geometry to Form A and B
Experience in the production of detail design drawings for Switch and Crossing layouts to Form A and Form B
Understanding of the requirements of Network Rail Group and Company Standards
Autocad or Microstation capable
Be familiar with 113A and RT60 Geometry
Be able to work as part of a team as well on his own initiativHNC/D in an appropriate engineering discipline
MXRail (or Similar design package) and Micostation
ClearRoute and DesignRoute
Good communication and people skills and able to write reports and specifications
