Also, they handle structures starting from 100 tonnes up to 2000 tonnes, an array of diverse painting systems, complex engineering projects, together with a full range of sub-trade packages.

Currently there is an opening for an experienced Operations Manager in our clients timber framed building division based in Derbyshire. The successful candidate would have senior management experience, ideally from a structural timber or structural steelwork background. The Operations Manager will manage a dedicated and experienced contracts team, as well as work closely with internal and external design teams, clients, architects, structural engineers and overseas suppliers.

Reporting to the Commercial & Construction Directors, the job holder will be responsible for the day to day managing of the timber structures division, including profit and loss, and the overall success of multiple projects, ensuring all targets are met and projects completed on time and within budget. Also included in the Operations Manager function is the vetting of new suppliers of timber materials as well as ensuring that the companys reposnisbilities are met with regards to the FSC and PEFC requirements.
