Our client is an engineering company that specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of process packages for the Oil & Gas market globally. Due to the growth of the business and continued success of new projects they are presently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Middlesex based office and team.
Summary;
To execute mechanical engineering activities on various onshore and offshore projects. Work to complete the project and company objectives by meeting the requirements of the defined scope and contractual specifications. Ensure work is completed to meet relevant codes, standards and procedures within the scheduled dates set by the project.
Duties;
Review of mechanical specifications, design drawings for vessels, pumps, equipment etc
Produce mechanical data sheets, specifications, schedules and equipment requisitions
Technical evaluation of vendor quotations
Visit fabricators during pre-award, manufacture and FAT
Supervision of junior Engineers assisting in executing projects when required.

Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably chartered status or working towards)

Experience:
Mechanical Engineering background in all of the above, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector
