Lead Technical Safety Engineer: South East
Our client is one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration companies in Europe, with operations inAfrica, Europe, South Asia andSouth America. A vacancy has arisen for a Lead Technical Safety Engineer to be located in their South East offices on a contract basis.

This role will involve providing and facilitating technical EHS support as required to the project. You will provide technical and regulatory support the Project Manager and in-country EHS Adviser as appropriate, providing direct support to the Business Unit Manager and Corporate EHS Team. You will ensure the legislative requirements for project or operational activities are properly addressed.

The successful candidate must hold a degree in safety engineering or equivalent subject, coupled with a strong track-record in Offshore Oil & Gas particularly FPSOs. You must have a passion for EHS, promotion of EHS values and company behaviours, have knowledge of operational and technical EHS issues related to FPSOs. You must also have a strong understanding of key computer packages (MS Office).
