Lead Safety Assurance Engineer required for a large rail engineering contractor, salary upto 40k plus package. Based Birmingham.

Requirements:

HND in an engineering or related subject
Possess or working towards IEng
Experience in safety engineering or safety assurance
Experience in the Railway Industry
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to manage own and others time to meet deadlines
Ability to interface with Railway industry/safety leaders in competent professional manner whilst maintaining safety and commercial interests
Detailed knowledge of the Yellow Book procedures and how to apply them.
Risk assessment skills
Organisational skills
Knowledge of Group Standards, client standards applicable legislation & internal procedures
