To work in a chemical laboratory providing analytical services across AWE whilst contributing to the continual improvement in service delivery within the laboratory

Key accountabilities
To undertake chemical analyses on samples associated with the material certification programmes
To undertake chemical analyses on samples associated with the environmental analysis programmes
Responsibilities
To support continuous improvement by working with Integrated Solutions led development projects
To maintain a high level of housekeeping within the laboratory
To operate within the company standards relating to Security, Quality, Environment, Safety and Health

Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent passes in Maths, English and Science (at grade C or above)
Preferred BTech, National Diploma in Science or A level equivalents in science based subjects

Knowledge
Safe practices in a laboratory environment
Quality systems
Experience
Working with chemicals
Preferred practical experience in a laboratory environment

Operating analytical equipment
