With revenues of US$105 billion our client produces approximately 10% of the worlds steel output. In addition to their steel making capabilities, they also operate a number of iron ore and coal mines worldwide. As a result of tremendous growth within the mining division, an opportunity for a site based Project Manager to manage various mining projects within Senegal.

Reporting to the Engineering Project Director in London, this role involves the hands on management of project design, cost and engineering requirements from front end to project implementation and ongoing maintenance in a number of geographical locations throughout Senegal.

In addition to a relevant tertiary qualification, the ideal candidate will have a minimum 10 years experience within the project engineering, contracts, design and maintenance functions with at least 5 years in project management. Experience in open cut mining, related infrastructure, rail, ports and/or process plants is essential.
