HSE Manager - Hertfordshire - Permanent Staff - Pharmaceuticals

Our client is a pharmaceutical company with a well earned reputation for innovation, efficiency, and providing solutions and products that address unmet needs in the market. The company is currently making a significant investment in constructing brand new facilities in the Hertfordshire area, and is now seeking a HSE Manager to join the growing team.

Your task will be to provide strategic and operational advice to ensure high standards of HS&E management are achieved throughout the organisation, and to ensure that effective systems, processes and training programmes are developed and introduced to support the maintenance of a high level of HS&E performance.
You will be responsible for the HSE management system and performance, compliance, coordination of audits, risk assessments and HSE continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified in a scientific discipline or similar, with NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. You should also have a proven track record within HSE in a pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment.
