Head of Safety & Risk: North West
Our client is a large consultancy working in various industry sectors. A vacancy has arisen for a Head of Safety & Risk for Oil & Gas to be located in their North West offices on a permanent basis.

This role will be reporting to the Manager of Oil & Gas Services. This role will require skills in areas such as: Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessment, Consequence modelling, including use of packages such as Shell FRED, Shepherd and various fire/blast CFD codes, Bow-Tie modelling, Safety Case/COMAH Case development & support and HAZID/HAZOP/SIL skills.

The successful candidate must hold a degree in chemical engineering/ safety engineering or related subject. Ideally you will have a consultancy background in Oil & Gas, as you will need to be skilled in business development, personnel management, mentoring of other staff. The role will involve elements of travel so you must be happy to travel internationally from time-to-time to Europe/ Middle East or further.
