Our client currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator
based out of their East Midlands office.

The company is an exciting and innovative division of a national Construction Group and are quickly becoming UK market leaders in offering structural timber and structural steelwork Hybrid solutions for the UK Construction Market.

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding division of a very successful Construction Group, with opportunities for growth within the business for the right candidates.

There is a fantastic range of projects within the department, both in terms of size
and type, from Retail Stores, Schools and Leisure Centres to Commercial
Developments.

The successful candidate would have experience and knowledge of the
estimating of Structural Steelwork and preferably Structural Timber, including the
following:
Minimum ONC / HNC qualification in a Structural or Civil Engineering
discipline.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Experience in the estimating of complex structural timber and or structural
steelwork.
Possess good IT and Communication skills, and be conversant with
Microsoft Office software package (including Word and Excel), and ideally
have experience and working knowledge of the Strumis estimating
software.
