Activities range from design and manufacture of hardware for sale and rental, to training, software development and the provision of on-site services carried out by competent and experienced technicians. Extensive engineering services include:
Torque and tension bolting equipment
Pipe cutting, bevelling, milling, boring, grinding & end-prepping
In-place heat treating, valve testing and leak sealing
Product sales, rental and technical support
Product service and training

Responsibilities
Manage, lead and develop the engineering team within the connector business.
Working with the Engineering team to develop and raise the engineering standards in order to grow the connector business
Bring in new technologies to support broadening product range
Develop and increase product range
Takes ownership for the technical aspects of Ball and Taper technology
Manage the day to day workflow of the Engineer team
Takes ownership of all technical issues related to maintaining approvals
Simplify product range to allow regionalization across business.
Develop Engineering tools that can be used by the sales team and HT regions.
Create / maintain applications books to ensure a Lean and more effective sales process.
Target new standard products from various applications and work with the BD team to help strengthen product range.

Experience
Mechanical Engineering Degree
5 years experience preferably within an Oil and Gas industrial background (Subsea or Connector Businesses)
3 years experience within a management role
Good knowledge and experience of 3D design packages (Pro-Eng preferred)
Good knowledge of FEA (ANSI) and mathematical packages such as MathCad.
Willingness to travel
