Electrical & Utilities Engineering Manager

We are working along side one of the worlds leading soft drink and alcoholic beverage manufactures. They are looking for an Electrical & Utilities Engineering Manager based from their head office in London to cover their African operations.

The role will support the capital investment programme across a variety of sites to ensure that all our clients assets are utilized effectively before considering further investment. The role ensures all assets are utilized effectively before considering investment. Acting as custodian of the capital approval system and ensures asset investment master plans are maintained for all process plants. Provide cost effective investment solutions with particular focus on electrical, water, steam generation, refrigeration, air, CO2, effluent treatment, environmental initiatives involved in the brewing, blending processing and distilling capital projects together with effective implementation of the projects.

Main Duties
To provide professional advice and challenge that will shape and drive the engineering with particular focus in areas of brewing, blending, processing and distilling solutions to achieve maximum profitability over the short and long term.
To deliver project competitively, to plan in budget, time and to agreed asset performance.
Manage and build commercially effective relationships for the business with all central functions within Supply, Site Teams, Partners and third part Suppliers.
Ensure the development of asset investment aligns to business supply strategy.
Manage project team personnel on a project-by-project basis numbers will vary depending on the size and scope of projects.

Our candidate will need the necessary technical experience, business skills and vision to extend the company's existing knowledge base and hopefully broaden its horizons and deliver projects to plan in budget, time and to agreed performance.

Ideally degree qualified in Electrical Engineering with professional status in a related field. You will need to understand manufacturing operations within a FMCG industry, ideally involving beverages with the ability to demonstrate commercial and negotiation skills. Site operational management experience with project management skills
