Our client is one of the largest UK water suppliers and provide clean drinking water and usage for millions of customers in Central England. The engineering divison of the group is solely responsible for the operations and maintenance of the groups assets, including water & wastewater treatment plants, sewage networks and pumping stations. Due to the expansion of the engineering business they are presently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician.
Description:
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of 350 sewerage pumping stations in the Worcestershire area
.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Service and maintain electrical breakdowns
2. Participate in a standby rota to respond to out of hours maintenance requests
3. Diagnose and repair and produce a report on faulty equipment.
4. Comply with Statutory and Company policies and procedures.
5. Ensure the Health and Safety of yourself, colleagues, visitors and members of the public.
6. Maintain effective communication with colleagues and other departments.
7. Approach customers in a friendly, helpful manner
8. Travel to sites as required

Experience Required:
Electrical: To have worked on various types of Electrical Motor Starters and to be able to fault find on this equipment from drawings or without the aid of drawings.

To keep the Sewerage Pumping Stations within consent and working at their optimum performance.
To work safely at all times ensuring the safety of your self and your colleagues.

Qualifications:
A formal apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance with a minimum qualification of NVQ3 (or equivalent) in either discipline.
A full driving license.
