Electrical Engineer - Permanent Staff - South East - Pharmaceuticals

Our client is a pharmaceutical company with a well earned reputation for innovation, efficiency, and providing solutions and products that address unmet needs in the market. The company is currently making a significant investment in constructing brand new facilities in the North London area, and is now seeking electrical engineering support.

Your role will initially be to support to the efficient start up of site, working with the commissioning engineers to ensure Good Engineering Practices are employed and quality systems, as well as documentation, are delivered as part of the construction project.

Once the site is operational, you will be responsible for management and maintenance of the site electrical infrastructure from the 11kv supply, transformers and associated switchgear, through to distribution and final circuits. Ensuring that all electrical systems remain complaint with current legislation and are maintained appropriately. Defining electrical maintenance requirements and managing the delivery of these through a variety of methods will be critical to the success of this role as is the ability to balance reactive and proactive drivers as well as projects.

It is expected that you will be a degree-qualified electrical engineer and should have significant experience in pharmaceutical operations including validation, commissioning and qualification.
