The role

NES have a Dubai based client who is recruiting experienced staff for a major project in Dubai



Required Experience/Accountabilities



To ensure that the project is well managed from a construction logistics point of view.

Primary Focus: Third Party Developer management

(approx. 850 development sites).

Secondary Focus: Ensuring that the construction projects (Villas and Townhouses, Village centres etc.) are well managed from a construction logistics point of view.

Interface with Internal and External Project Managers/ Construction Managers/ Logistics Officers/ Safety Officers/ Site Engineers/ Site Co-ordinators as may be required.
Work closely with the appointed PM firm to ensure that logistical issues are well managed.
Attending formal and informal meetings as required.
Meeting site handover dates and managing sight handover targets for Third Party Developers.
Carry out the role of the Project Manager (with development management elements) under the Design and Construction Contracts with due expedition and without delay.
Management of Plot Access; Plot security, Parking, Control of private vehicles accessing the site.
Dewatering on plots, including the management of the design build operate dewatering contractor.
Management of excess material on site.
Management of Concrete Batching Plant (if provided).
Assisting with decisions relating to Site Offices and Temporary Facilities, Storage Facilities and Laydown areas.
Assisting with the resolution of Shoring and Underpinning issues between plot developments.
Management of Labour and Materials movement.
Liaising with EHS team with regards to Health and Safety issues including site Accidents; Fire protection; Ambulance access.
Management of Sanitary facilities; Waste removal.
Managing the on time delivery of temporary and permanent services (e.g. electricity) to Third Party Developers
Hoarding Fencing and Signboard management.
Management of developer charges for dewatering, maintenance of permanent and temporary roads, damage rectification etc.
Assisting with dispute resolution.
Management of communication methods and protocols.
Review and management of Third Party Developer contracts, responsibilities and obligations. Review and management of Third Party Developers Site Logistics Plans.
Review and management of Master Developers Master Plan, Logistics and Phasing.
