NES are currently looking to recruit a Commissioning engineer with experiance of managing an extensive multi discipline commissioning team, for a major project based between the design office in the northwest and the north east of England. This contract role is set to start in August 2008 and last over 18 months.

Role:
1. To focus on, lead and manage, specific tasks/areas relating to the commissioning and start-up of a multi million dollar EPC Bio-Ethanol projects.
2. The role involves, writing functional test procedures, planning, resource management, training, writing operating and maintenance manuals.
3. In addition, candidates will be expected to demonstrate pro-active skill sets, excellent communication and planning skills and good knowledge and experiance of large facility safe commissioning and start-up.

Profile:
- Extensive commissioning and operational experiance in process plants
- Has experiance in commissioning of large international EPC contracts
- Preferably completed projects in the petrochemicals or bio fuels sector
- An understanding of planning reporting systems
- Familiar with HSE design and site issues
- Understanding of construction and design issues and how they relate to commissioning and start-up
