A Coatings Engineer is required on a staff basis at the Head Office in Reading.

Requirements

Relevant Science/Engineering based qualification.
Coating and Insulation experience in the Process

Plant Industry, particularly from an Engineering Contractor perspective.

Knowledge of paint and coatings technology as applied to the Process Plant Industries.

Knowledge of industrial insulation systems (hot, cold, cryogenic, dual) and of systems for passive fire protection.

Responsibilities

Preparation of Project standards and specifications in the fields of paint coatings, insulation and fireproofing.

Selection of coating, insulation and fireproofing systems.

Review of bids for painting and insulation works.

Review of Vendor and sub-contractor paint and insulation systems/procedures.

Vendor visits as required to resolve Project paint and insulation issues.
