Our clients are a large rail Consultancy Company, who are looking to recruit a Civil & Structural Engineering Manager at their offices in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to manage and further develop our Civil & Structural Engineering team in Glasgow, Birmingham or Plymouth. This is a challenging role involving the design and assessment of bridges and other structures for railway projects and you will need to demonstrate experience of leading and developing a similar team. You will be responsible for meeting agreed business targets and for creating, developing and managing business opportunities in the areas of civil and structural engineering.

Essential Skills/Experience Required:

Chartered Engineer (MICE or MIStructE)
Proven experience of bridge design and assessment, preferably involving railway bridges
Proven team leader experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills/Experience Required:

-Educated to degree level or equivalent
-General railway civil engineering experience
-Experience of structural analysis software
-Enthusiastic about developing technical expertise
-Strong commercial awareness
-Good project management expertise
