Key Objectives:

To fulfil a 2D draughting function within the Drawing Office in accordance with applicable standards and within project specific deadlines.
Operate and administer Vantage VPE P&ID software
Operate and administer PDMS Draft software

Training will be provided in Vantage software applications where required.

Main Duties:

1. Produce 2D drawings to support tendering department in the form of preliminary P&ID's, Plot plans & layout drawings.

2. Develop P&ID's in conjunction with the process department in both AutoCAD and VPE formats

3. Develop drawings in AutoCAD format and utilising PDMS Draft from the 3D PDMS piping model in the form of Plot plans, arrangement drawings, Isometric pipe sketches, material take-offs.

4. Produce pipe support details and arrangement drawings from 3D model.

5. Produce and develop guidance drawings and site sketches.

6. Develop Pipe support standards & details

7. Checking and backdraughting of 2D drawing output.

8. Undertaking any other duties that may be required from time to time.

9. Ensure all work complies with company procedures and standards.

Organisational Relationships:

Work alongside Tendering / Project Teams and 3D design Draughtsmen,
Liase with Clients and sub-contractors as required.
Develop interface with Aveva on PDMS and develop in-house procedures for utilising PDMS.
Provide training to others in PDMS draft and VPE P&ID.
