Our clients, are a large rail organisation, are looking to recruit a Assistant Requirements Engineer at their offices in Central London. The principal function of this position is the responsibility of ensuring project requirements are managed within the DOORS database.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

Liaison with other disciplines for the effective use of DOORS database
Ensure that the requirements of the assurance regime are disseminated to all relevant personnel.
Ensure compliance with project requirements of Company design submissions.
Assist work stream representatives in the preparation of submissions with regard to assurance and compliance with requirements.
Review and update Assumptions Register

Job Requirements

Ability to manage databases desirable
Able to liaise with other disciplines
Good communication skills
Competent in MS Word & MS Excel
Proactive approach to monitoring and ensuring that actions are taken to achieve deadlines
Minimum HNC/D or equivalent
Experience in rail industry preferable
