Assistant Planning Manager

Responsible for:

Managing detailed planning, monitoring and reporting of all construction and infrastructure related activities at Tidworth, including co-ordination with all associated parties.

Duties:

Observe and promote Health and Safety requirements

Develop Construction programmes in accordance with the constraints of the Transition Programme and Unified Overall Project Programme

Produce Enquiry programmes and assess Tenderers submissions

Develop and maintain project Story Boards (inc. synopsis)

Prepare and agree with the Client, Secondary Asset handover schedules and plans

Review and agree Change Requests to be incorporated within the Unified Overall Project Programme

Provide and discuss updates for the Notification of Functional Group Acceptance into Service countdown process

Produce resource histograms, including quantities take-off and calculation of rates

Appraise new / revised drawings and analyse effect of changes on programme

Regularly meet with and co-ordinate programmes with MUJV and Subcontractors

Monitor progress and prepare reports

Advise management on programme position and attend meetings to discuss

Advise on programme options and/or recovery measures

Develop Short Term programmes, Commissioning programmes and Handover programmes

Investigate options and What-if scenarios

Update Lessons Learned database

Maintain and up date Planning Department project documentation in accordance with QA Procedures

Provide risk analysis capability and participate in the risk management process

Seek and implement improvements to the companys processes
