PURPOSE:
To assist in the day-to-day activities of the East London Project Management team and support the Project Commercial Manager.The Assistant Commercial Manager will provide support and report to the Project Commercial Manager located in Bonhill Street project offices, London.

SUMMARY OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Commercial
Provide support to the Project Commercial Manager
Candidates must have Claims Experiance as it is critical for the role
Manage the Early Warning Notice Process
Undertake quantification of designated legacy issues. Develop the case justifying additional fees under the contract, either from variation orders, early warnings, minutes of meetings, informal communications i.e. e-mails between client engineers and design teams etc.
Undertake quantification of new variations as directed by the Commercial Manager
Arrange and support various meetings
Assist in the preparation of reports and other deliverables in support of contracts management
Assist with ad-hoc analysis and reporting
Display awareness of Unit and Company Business Plans
Manage own performance in respect of company procedures

Education/Qualifications:
Good standard of general education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English
Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar

Experience:
Previous experience developing claims for a contractor,is a major requirment
High standard of working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel essential, Power Point desirable
Familiarity with NEC Type 3 contracts would be advantageous
